Lead the sales, marketing and R&D functions for MGP Ingredients. (NASDAQ: MGPI) Develop effective value added sales and marketing platforms for specialty ingredients and specialty proteins for the food and pet food industries. Establish strategic relationships with key food and pet food companies while providing ingredient solutions to R&D and marketing professionals across the industry. Provide leadership and mission priorities for the R&D team while creating synergies in new product development and go to market commercializations. Lead the sales and marketing teams to expand into new market segments with unique ingredients for the baking and snack food segments as well as the pet food industry. An officer of the organization with accountability for strategy development and execution. Quarterly engagement with the board of directors is necessary. At the same time, sensitivity to investor relations is an important component as well. Complete P&L responsibilities for the business segment; reporting directly to the president and CEO of the organization.
