Managed variety of localization projects for life sciences clients. Project types included user manuals, directions/instructions for use (DFUs/IFUs), release notes, documentation and packaging materials. Utilized proprietary translation management system (TMS) to initiate projects, configure workflows, assign production tasks, prepare work instructions, update language statuses (in detailed tracking sheet), manage staggered deliveries and generate invoices. Managed project intake, created MS Project schedules, coordinated with external vendors and internal teams (for translation, editing, proofreading and DTP production), and communications with clients. Coordinated projects with team members (in US and Asia hubs) to manage all production phases, using Teams and OneDrive for remote collaboration and communications.

• Used SAP for capital projects financial monitoring and materials management of portfolios for two project managers. Processed vendor invoices for approval and payment. • Extracted SAP financial information to generate monthly cost accruals and individual project forecasts. Collaborated with project managers to prepare accruals and forecast submittals to management. • Coordinated with vendors for submission of monthly accruals and forecasts reports as well as project invoices close-out. • Participated in project status review meetings, plus weekly project construction review meetings and semi-monthly ordered equipment status meetings. Utilized SAP to generate project materials status reports for project managers. • Created and maintained OneNote pages to document project controls and SAP processes.

RWS Moravia is one of the top 10 localization companies worldwide. • Served as temporary remote US time zone localization project manager for one of the company’s top 10 accounts. • Interacted with client project managers for daily requests (for two product lines), and coordinated with globally distributed Moravia production hubs under a Follow the Sun (FTS) localization model. • Processed vendor financial submittals, responded to client requests and queries, attended weekly sync meetings with client project managers and regular production meetings with Moravia teams.

• Achieved a 98% on-time delivery record in 2016-2016, managing and delivering over 300 successful internationalization and localization projects. • Served as primary point of contact for projects, managing and maintaining strong working relationships with house accounts and vendors. In some cases, maintained relationships that lasted 10 years and longer. • Projects managed include B2B surveys, eLearning, e-mail campaigns, games, software, Help, documentation, video, websites, catalogs, marketing, etc. • Prepared quotes for all project categories, managed distributed linguistic teams located in Americas, Europe and Asia, and coordinated production with Localization Engineering and Quality Assurance departments. Many projects required supervision of 50+ linguists in 28-46 languages. • Major participation in ISO 9001:2008 certification effort; managed projects to comply with ISO protocols and PTIGlobal Quality Standards. • Participated in preparation of RFPs and sales proposals. Also managed queries, communications and customer relations. • Facilitated post-mortem/plus-delta meetings after completion of major projects. Wiley, Jossey-Bass, McGraw-Hill, University of Tulsa, University of Santa Clara, Marylhurst University and others. Coordinated production through multiple departments: copy editing, composition, graphics and Quality Assurance. Communicated with authors, editors, client project managers and internal production departments. Projects ranged from mathematics and chemistry textbooks to academic journals and college catalogs. Also served as Customer Service Representative for these and other publishing and commercial typesetting clients.
