Relevium, Latin for “Relief”, is organized under the Maryland Annotated Code, Corporations and Associations §§5-6C-01 – 5-6C-08, as a Maryland Benefit Corporation. As a benefit corporation, Relevium has a specific purpose to create a material positive impact on society and the environment through affordable housing. Relevium provides a way for residents experiencing dramatic reductions in property values to secure relief from high mortgage and penalty payments while permitting them to relocate to a Relevium property as lessors with options for purchase. Lessors will be permitted to purchase the property using our unique shared appreciation program after lease periods of up to three years.
