I was asked to enhance and maintain the website for TEDx Sarasota. My friend Corey Perlman of eBOOTCAMP made the introduction and the TEDx team and I have been updating the website for the big even on 12.12.12. I am thankful to be included in this project and hope to learn a lot from the other leaders and participants at TEDx Sarasota. I am working for TEDx as a volunteer as are all of the other contributing sponsors.
I served as a lay campus minister at the Emory University Catholic Center since 2003. I organized social activities, retreats, educational activities, and service projects for the Catholic Center students at Emory University. I was in charge of the budget, fundraising, and volunteer coordination. In addition, I devoted time to inter-religious discussions and activities with the various religious groups on Emory's campus. This position was very rewarding, and was very grateful for the opportunity to be able to serve in this way. However, after nine years of service at Emory, due to the growth of my web design business, I decided to pursue business full-time and discontinued service at Emory.

I met Corey Perlman, author of eBOOTCAMP, at my high school class reunion. I built a website for the class reunion which is how Corey knew I did web design. We began talking and he informed me that his book was about to be released and that after giving presentations he was often asked for web designer recommendations. We met and talked a few more times and came up with a plan in which I would run the Web Designer Services Branch of eBOOTCAMP. This effort expands the eBOOTCAMP brand and provided additional work for my web design business. You can see our offerings at www.theebootcamp.com/web.
