Vantage Asset Management is (www.vantageasset.com) is a private equity fund of funds, secondaries and co-investment manager focused on investing into and alongside the top performing growth, turnaround and buyout private equity funds in Australia who in turn invest into profitable companies in the lower to mid market segment across Australia and New Zealand ultimately resulting in a highly diversified portfolio of investments which have an Enterprise Value of generally between $25m to $500m at initial investment. Vantage manages funds on behalf of global clients via several private equity fund strategies which include its flagship fund of funds products across the Vantage Private Equity Growth fund series (VPEG, VPEG2, VPEG3, VPEG4, VPEG5) and the recently launched and now open for investment Vantage Private Equity Growth 6 (VPEG6)(www.vantageasset.com) now available for investment by small to mid sized institutions, family offices, High Net Worth Individuals, Significant Investor Visa (SIV) applicants and other sophisticated investors (directly or via SMSF's). VPEG3, VPEG4, VPEG5 and VPEG6 are also all registered with the Australian Government Department of Industry, Innovation and Science, as low risk, capital stable, complying investments for the Significant Investor Visa (SIV). Michael is responsible for the development and management of all private equity fund investment activity at Vantage and its authorised representatives, and has managed Vantage’s funds share of investment into over $13.5 billion of Australian Private Equity funds resulting in more than $8.5 billion of equity funding across 169 underlying portfolio companies. As at 30 June 2023, the 31 Private Equity funds in which Vantage managed fund of funds have made commitments, had invested in 169 underlying companies of which 88 had been sold. Those exits have delivered a gross 2.9 X multiple of invested capital in those companies, delivering a gross average annualised return of 49.7% p.a.
