Office of Research and Development (ORD) Center for Public Health and Environmental Assessment (CEPHA) Chemical Pollutant Assessment Division (CPAD) • Evaluate, analyze, integrate, and interpret scientific findings or data from observational and experimental studies as it relates to environmental exposures. • Contracting Officer Representative providing oversight and technical direction to federal contractors. • Provide leadership and oversee the comprehensive analysis and interpretation of data which identify and characterize the potential adverse effects of human health outcomes due environmental chemicals. • Provide expert consultation to key management staff, senior scientists, and policy makers within the agency. • Assist senior management with the creation of long range goals for developing and enhancing CEPHEA’s risk assessment capabilities and research strategies. • Keep abreast of current research and new developments in toxicology data interpretation, mode(s), and/or mechanism(s) of toxicity. • Develop and integrate new and alternative method approaches into toxicity testing and risk assessment processes.
