The organization is directly accountable for the deployment and configuration of AWS services in new regions and availability zones. Represented service delivery cost, schedule and risk to Senior Management and Government at Program Management Reviews, Executive Deep Dives and Readiness Reviews. Established and maintained roadmaps with various organizations across Amazon to insure products and services meet high operational excellence standards.

Managed cross-organizational software development programs within the United States, Ireland, India, Japan and China for Amazon Marketplace, a thriving business sector responsible for selling 1/3 of all items on Amazon. Personally responsible for the program management of the OLP (Offer Listing Page), Seller Promotions Manager and Unified NA programs. Worked closely with Product Managers, Software Development Managers and various other stakeholders on delivering complex, high quality, scalable software products around the world. Responsible for assembling project teams, assigning responsibility, identifying critical resources and developing schedules for timely delivery. Assessed risks, anticipated bottlenecks, provided escalation management and balanced the business needs versus technical constraints.

Lead a program of 15 FTE’s (Full Time Equivalents) as the Lockheed Martin Active IT Program Manager valued at $18.4M. Managed the cost, schedule and risk baselines for a subcontract agreement with Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics that provided information technology infrastructure services required to build out and maintain the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) New Campus East (NCE).

Chief of Staff for the President of IS&GS-National (Intelligence Community focused Product Line); assisted in the operations and coordination of a $2.2B Product Line on behalf of the President in addition to the interaction with supporting Lines of Business and Senior Staff Functions. Managed the execution of Product Line business rhythms, action item tracking and preparations for customer meetings / EPPs (Executive Planning Panels) while maintaining Product Line collaboration sites and responding to adhoc data request by IS&GS Central. Provided assistance in tactical / strategic planning and business strategy specifically focused on top line growth.

Supports the Software Development Manager in operating an organization of 70 developers over a $135M increment. Responsible for managing $20M in cost, schedule and risk as the Software and Integration/Test Control Account Manager (CAM). Applies knowledge of end to end process of work authorization from customer to implementation via control accounts to ensure the proper work is being completed within scope and budget. Manages and dispositions discrepancy report work off between various software sub systems and the test organization to ensure baseline stability. Represents the Software organization to Senior Management and contractor to the Government at Program Management Reviews, Internal Executive Deep Dives, Variance Reviews and Joint Surveillance Reviews in regards to cost, schedule and technical commitments.

Managed all environment related activities associated with a $13M GEOINT Information Management Services Product Integration Lab (PIL) Training Environment engineering change proposal. Monitored and employed deployment rhythms, delivered test execution status and planned maintenance activities in development, integration, training and operations environments to senior management. Managed and dispositioned the inflow of discrepancy reports (DR) and coordinated/developed resolution plans across various environment, test and development teams. Represented the environment at daily environment stability, integration / test and senior management meetings.

Assisted in the development of the program metrics plan to ensure software quality assurance. Managed metrics associated with code inspections, requirements closure, test maturity and discrepancy report work-off. Provided expertise in earned value management to assist in the development of schedule and cost metrics. Supported senior management in identifying key problem areas for improvement during re-baseline and readiness activities.

Led planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of inputs for Monthly Program/Focus Management Reviews, Weekly Activity Reports, and Senior Executive briefings for >$1B CMMI Level 5 - GEOINT Information Management Services contract. Identified leading indicators and managed metrics to track program performance while maintaining metrics collection tools to capture data on earned value, risk, staffing, and technical maturity. Supported the Program Director in evaluating and recommending improvements to business rhythms, processes and control procedures. Developed, executed and evolved internal collaboration plan for 1000+ employee organization.

Responsible for the definition and implementation of SWIT processes and procedures across multiple development applications and COTS integration teams (1.6M SLOC and 125 COTS products). Provided SWIT tactical management during software drops resulting in the identification and resolution of integration discrepancy reports assisting in the turnover to formal acceptance testing.

Managed a knowledge transfer initiative (LMpedia) valued at $150K to establish a central information repository for employees to go learn about any topic related to Lockheed Martin. Developed pilot requirements, and specifications while responsible for cost, schedule and technical baseline of the entire software lifecycle. Facilitated decision analysis and value engineering techniques for Integration Workshops for both internal and external customers across various business areas. Assisted customers in the production and prioritization of value concepts to improve mission effectiveness. Supported other Net Centric Operations such as prediction market experiments, FacilitatePro conferences, and Thinktank brainstorming sessions. Led a micro-project to analyze how virtual conferencing can be taken to the next level by furthering a user’s experience with changes in tangible (technology, environment, and facilitation) and intangible (physiological and psychological) factors.

Led tactical planning efforts for OMEGA Program tradeshow participation. Drove collaboration between the program, Marketing / Communications and Media Services to find the most effective way to communicate the underlying mission. Generated requirements documents and test plans for the new OMEGA website. Successfully completed the development and integration of an interactive OMEGA intranet site which allowed for updates via a content management system (RedDot) without technical interference. Conducted updates to communications material such as print panels, brochures, videos, and interactive demonstrations.

Developed usability objectives with the GRID application to maximize speed of access to key information, present accurate and complete information, present specific information regarding relevant topics, make the most effective use of delivery methods, and make FAQ's and documentation the resource of regular access rather than centralizing the help desk. Drove collaboration between GRID business and creative teams to develop information architectures; content structures and organization; navigation systems; labeling and searching systems; visual and typographic designs. Worked to translate design artifacts into prototypes and complete visual compositions. Performed GRID product release testing, recommended process improvements, and implemented and complied with quality test system. Helped develop requirements documents and test plans in a development environment, working in all aspects of the development life cycle.

Analyzed developmental builds for a real-time quote-bind system by creating various UML diagrams for a holding company that provides a range of insurance and reinsurance products worldwide. Tested user interface and design, system functionality versus business processes, and data integrity. Designed and updated content on the Corporate Risk Website using such tools as SQL Server and Visual Studio .NET. Developed user specific training material and technical documentation for future upgrade use.

Designed and maintained departmental sites for US pharmaceuticals unit which operates businesses ranging from pharmaceuticals to vitamins and diagnostics. Improved and reconstructed pre-existing intranet sites with the creation of interactive navigational tools such as Flash introductions and JavaScript menus. Monitored and regularly updated company’s Human Resources sites.
