Led the company’s involvement as a named plaintiff in US litigation, resulting in clients receiving a settlement in excess of US$1 million. Designed the legal framework for a new high net wealth offer, working with the investment and marketing teams to bring to market a service targeting high net wealth individuals and families with documentation that clearly described the features of the new offering, while also addressing the key legal requirements. Provided legal and commercial analysis on potential acquisition target as a part of a due diligence team, enabling the business to make an informed decision regarding the acquisition of the potential target. Designed the company’s response to the introduction of the FATCA and CRS international tax information sharing regimes, enabling the business to meet its reporting obligations on time and with minimal business interruption and client dissatisfaction.
