Responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing LaserJet product supplier relationships based in China-Guangzhou, Tianjin, Suzhou; Singapore; Mexico-Guadalajara; and Europe-Germany, Hungary • Created competitive supplier cooperative agreement where competitors used the same progressive die tool builds from one supplier in their mutually independent production factories in USA and Hungary • Performed analysis of tool gages, prototype and First Article parts, production-ready inspection and CpK reviews prior to production release • Created cost models for lowest landed total cost decision making for LaserJet Printer parts & assemblies • Selected by management to serve as Mechanical Lead for European Union’s July 2007 RoHS compliance • Resolved discrepant materials, field failure issues and cost management strategies; Commodities: sheet metal, plastic molding, die castings, labels, print materials and tooling processes
