Negotiate competitive price, lead time, payment terms, etc. Build and maintain solid relationships with suppliers to enable the achievement of full business potential. • Achieve to save more than £300K for conducting three projects. • Successfully save 6.63% cost on purchasing orders within 5 months. • Perform risk assessments to minimise potential loss when it comes to delaying or bad quality. • Finalise details of purchasing orders and review existing contracts with suppliers. • Take the initiative to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. • Arrange Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) with test houses and review the reports compared with various compliance reports. • Solid understanding of products from sports and outdoor products to electrical appliances including regulatory compliance, the off-season, holidays production capacity changes, etc. • Work closely with the operation, creative, finance and customer service team including the arrangement of shipments, artworks, budget control, customer queries, etc. • Provide weekly purchasing payment forecast. • Source the right candidates to fill open purchasing positions, conduct recruitment and selection processes.
