Initially I started working as a volunteer, to end up becoming Director's Assistant: - supporting the Director in the decision making process in collaboration with donors such as UNICEF and Islamic Relief: scope, objectives, timeline, geographical coverage, risks, monitoring of performance, monthly and final reports, etc: -> Health programmes: Provision of Emergency Mobile Primary Health Care Services for Syrian Refugees in the South of Lebanon, Phase II. The project targeted over 16,000 beneficiaries in 36 settlements. -> Mental health programmes: The programme Alleviate Distress and Provide Treatment "ADAPT" targeted 1,200 Syrian and host community children in Saida area and Ein al Helwe Camp. The programme "Protect Syrian refugees in Lebanon" allowed 250 youth and parents to beneficiate from awareness sessions and 45 psychiatric illness cases were treated individually. -> Education programmes: with the support of the Mayor and City Council of Saida, the Saida Public Library and The Saida Youth Library programmes, are currently bringing together youth from all parts of Saida and Ain El Helweh Palestinian refugee camp; - reorganisation of duties among the key members of the organisation (7 members), identifying and assigning tasks to relevant staff members/project coordinators according to their capacities and preferences; - establishment of a system of monitoring progress by implementing weekly meetings with all project managers and administrator of the NGO; - inserting of monthly progress in the ActivityInfo platform; - researching funding opportunities and developing funds proposals from the concept note to logical frameworks; - focal point for child protection programmes; - ensuring internal and external on-going communication: creating accounts in social media and developing the capacities of the media team (4 interns); - building and maintaining relationships with donors such as UNICEF, Islamic Relief UK-USA and Ideals UK.

Initially hired for general administrative duties, I became responsible for developing the project "Circuit Cinéma", an economic, artistic, cultural and educational project based on an itinerant film workshop in Cameroon and the partner regions of the Champagne-Ardenne. It was a pioneer project, involving capacity building as active media agents, life skills, cultural awareness and inter-cultural communication, using media as a tool for intercultural dialogue. It would place in countries such as: Benin, Togo, The Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Russia and Mexico: -Development of the project scope, social, economic and media context of each region, goals, target, pertinence, methods, impact, budget and sustainability; -research and creation of a database of financial aid applications (European Commission, Media Desk, Europe-aid, UNESCO, AFD ...); -development of financial aid forms as required for the programmes Europe for Citizens and Investing in People; -contact key stakeholders in each country to present them the project in English, French and Spanish (including Ambassadors, Media Desk representatives, Institut Français directors and experts in the media field); -creation of a database of potential financial partners in each country: governments and public institutions, film schools, foundations, NGO's, businesses; -development (content and design) of a 35 page project dossier presenting the project in each region in French, English and Spanish. The dossier was then reviewed and approved by experts from each country; -creation of diverse project literature and publicity materials. In addition I worked as project coordinator for the short film "La Passante", supervising the work of 3 interns. This company was beyond theater and it is still running. The objective is to empower people by create a common space where everyone would have a voice.
