Fully assumed all responsibility for the Product and Engineering groups as a direct report of the CEO. Participated in executive level strategic planning, reporting, and team management - building a strong rapport with Executives from other groups. Successfully transitioned the organization to remote work and drove an increase in productivity while maintaining a low attrition rate throughout the pandemic. Developed new leaders within Engineering to maintain a strong sense of community amongst the team while adapting to new challenges presented as a distributed team.

Lead a group of 20+ Engineers - managed resources, team development, and departmental goals and objectives. During my time as Director, I collaborated with Executive's and Product team leaders to facilitate the creation new software applications as well as refine and grow existing offerings across various technology stacks and target audiences. Took pride in maintaining the highest "Happiness" scores within the organization, while cultivating a team culture of enablement, transparency, and respect.

Worked alongside leaders in the Digital segment of the Agency to define new processes and tools to enable the maturation the the development team. Was relied upon to define technical documentation for projects, plan implementation, as well as track projects against budgets. As a member of a small team, I often contributed as a developer while also doubling as a business-level guide on technology-related decisions. In my short time, I created new hosting processes and standards, worked through a unification process to move all projects onto a single host, as well as introduced version-control and a hybrid "agile-like" process to the team.

Worked as a Senior member in a diverse group of Engineer's as we tackled the migration from a monolithic application structure to one that adopted many principles of the microservice architectural pattern. During my tenure we built or rebuilt 3 SaaS platforms that helped to facilitate the ability for OneSpace to shift from being focused on the world of micro-tasking and crowdsourcing to focusing on a data-driven approach to ecommerce enablement. Different technologies were utilized daily to enable the rapid growth and diversification of the business, including NodeJS, Kafka, MongoDB, SQLServer, and ASP.NET.

Lead multiple web projects from concepting through deployment. Used ReactJS, SilverStripe and other popular frameworks daily to complete projects efficiently. Assisted with creating project scopes and estimations. - Considered as the go-to person for JavaScript development amongst peers - Operated under tight, strict deadlines - Concepted and developed a lead generation app for visitors to ASSA ABLOY showrooms across the country, aided in deployment of iPads and training for event managers. - Interfaced with Project Managers, Account Managers, and Designers to ensure project quality

Front-end developer for new .NET application built to replace the old classic ASP platform. Used SASS, Razor View engine, and MVC 4.5 to create a platform used to support multiple sites in various languages.

Developed many promotional websites and Facebook apps for national brands such as Purina, Universal Studios, Sapporo, Balance Bar, General Cigar and Enterprise. Time spent at Network Solutions led to experience in various roles. Initially hired as Web Designer I and eventually transitioned to a role within the Engineering organization as an Engineer I. In two years within that organization, I was promoted to Engineer III. Senior member of the Storefront Front-End Engineering team, responsible for contributing forward-thinking, long-term solutions for the NetworkSolutions.com corporate storefront. - Lead the implementation of the SASS CSS framework - Acted as Engineering Lead and Point of Contact for the creation of a Mobile version of the customer facing ‘Account Manager’ application, which was launched in September 2011 - Lead Developer for SilverStripe CMS powered properties
