Job Description • Daily follow up of field operations on the wells. • Monitors oil producing and water injection wells performance. Investigates and diagnoses well problems and proposes action requirements. Recommends workover for specific wells giving prognosis of each well and workover justification. • Good experience in ESP and Sucker rod pumps, operation and troubleshooting. • How to use various programs to determine fluid level and analysis of other downhole parameters. • Follow up well tests through test packages and gauge tanks. • Follow up pumping/receiving of oil through shipping lines. • Good experience in pigging jobs of shipping line. • Reviews and evaluates water injection performance and discusses the long term injection test with concerned engineers of other Departments. • Maintains comprehensive database on well history, oil production, water production/ injection statistics. • Follows up and supervises many jobs carried out by contractors. (mechanical, water and acid back wash, slick line jobs) • Follows up on contractor service performance and adherence to safe work practices. • Participates in the development of operating, reporting and recording procedures for oil and water production/injection performance. • Reviewing the monthly report to highlight the main activities also update all the documents and drawings required for the production. • Review the min./max. stock of all production equipment spare parts in accordance with material storekeeping procedures. • Ensuring, in conjunction with HSE engineer, compliance with all fire and safety regulations that the operation comply with safety procedures. • Recommending proper methods or techniques to operating divisions to carry out non-standard operations required as per program.
