I was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Aleid Foods to lead the execution of the Company’s transformation strategy, and I am very proud to be part of this successful journey. Aleid Foods has completed its three-year strategy by the end of 2021 to restructure operations, move to digitalization, and provide integrated services in the food sector locally and regionally through a vertically integrated business model that enables the Company to enhance its customer-centric and value-added approach. The Company is successfully moving forward with the introduction of new product lines, complementary business lines such as Horeca, local food production lines, bakery and sweets as well as expanding its logistics and distribution network to include the digital platforms as well as the traditional brick and mortar models. By the end of 2021 Aleid Foods is offering 40 brands that are found in majority household thanks to the great team of merchant and sales and their dedication to success and consistency in delivering the best service to our partners and the growing distribution network. During 2020 pandemic, Aleid Foods was proud to be a major contributor to the food security in the State of Kuwait, covering the required supplies for a period of six months as the world declared a state of emergency while the Covid-19 pandemic spread. We pride the success of these measure to the strong and long-standing partnerships with major food manufacturers in the region and the world, as well as our abilities to accommodate an increase in production, packaging, storage and distribution. While 2020 being our milestone to restructuring, we look at 2021 with gratitude as we affirm our market positioning reflected in our operational growth, empowering the highly qualified executive team to drive results through measurable goals and long-term objectives, and a clear vision to sustainable returns through our commitment to continuous growth.
