Work closely with ExxonMobil’s cross-functional team, that includes reservoir engineers, geoscientist, data scientist, product owners and a broad range of developers, in an agile framework to identify requirements and design effective solution for their desktop application. Plan project schedule, facilitate design session and rapidly iterate over concepts using electronic as well as paper prototypes. Identify complex problems by creating artifacts using a combination of techniques (like journey maps, competitive analysis report and user flow diagrams) that informs the high level solution. Identify risks, prioritize user stories with stakeholders and define usability metrics to speed up the design process, understand the severity of a problem and eliminate assumption. Generate sketches, wireframes as well as high fidelity prototype to convey the idea and conduct usability test. Communicate status and solution to the UX team to deliver a consistent design and finally generate annotated design specifications. Review developer’s work, document any issues and provide alternative solution by analyzing the cost and benefit of all potential options. Participate in project planning and sprint planning with the software development team to build roadmaps and define long-term goals and desired outcomes in an agile environment.

Redesigned a real estate application using participatory and iterative design techniques and delivered a design system library to ensure easier and consistent design and development process. Conducted usability tests for a retail client to identify usability issues and recommend solutions.

Ideated and launched BeVote app for iPhone users that motivates students at UT to register and vote in an upcoming election and educates them about candidates and issues in their county. Built conceptual prototypes to explore interactive behaviors and conducted usability testing with target users to distill findings into actionable results. Designed and developed a Toolkit to help users adapt to new cultural environments and deal with people from unfamiliar cultural backgrounds, based on the book 'The Culture Solution'. The toolkit is developed using AngularJS and NodeJS.

Designed and developed a Learning Management System using Moodle framework to host two courses for a federal funded project. Designed and developed a JSP/JavaScript based online game to engage new students with the university.

Developed .Net and Oracle based web applications in a team environment, using Agile methodologies, to support clients with call center needs. Consulted clients on new requirements and technical issues to enhance user experience and collaborated with developers to enhance supportability and identify performance bottlenecks.

Identified and developed new business opportunities through market research, analyzing client’s capabilities against competitors and by effectively communicating product lines to leading international corporation’s executives and Business Development Managers.
