 Responsible for providing support, advice and guidance related to the company’s risk and compliance initiatives.  Maintaining the business continuity plans and the risk management program.  Formulating dynamic risk assessments and plans, designs and executes risk and audit testing.  Provide guidance on a broad array of policies / regulations & aid in the development, implementation and conducting of compliance training programs.  Review existing programs for improvements and updates needed due to revisions in laws and regulations.  Assist in the preparation for scheduled internal and external exams.  Ensures that new or changed regulations are implemented appropriately through changes to policy, procedures or systems.  Conduct risk based compliance monitoring reviews periodically during the year.  Report results of compliance monitoring to the MD and the Board with recommended time tables for correction.  Develop and maintain positive relationships with Regulators, examiners and other stakeholders.  Responsible for updating the Business continuity plan and ensuring that training and testing is conducted.  Develop and implement testing scenarios.  Hold periodic business continuity meetings to discuss responsibilities, review changes which would impact the plan, and discuss trends in business continuity.  Support the Managing Director in implementing and maintaining a Risk Management program  Work with MD to determine a method of documenting the results of the risk identification and assessment process. Also working with individual Committee members and others in the company to promote the objectives of the program.  Ensure effective supplier management program is in place to address new and existing suppliers.  Perform adequate due diligence on new suppliers to satisfy supplier review process  Serves as a team member and leader on key Company projects and represent compliance and risk management issues on the same.
