In this single department role, I am responsible for the following: - Recruitment and Selection: Full cycle recruitment (identification of need to onboarding); work with recruitment agencies - Compensation and Benefits: manage and administer company payrolls, benefits and Group RRSP/DPSP program; negotiate contracts and renewals with vendors; manage all regulatory remittances; complete and participate in annual compensation survey - Development, implementation and management of HR related policies, programs, processes, procedures, forms/templates and guidelines - Training and development: identifying training needs; sourcing relevant training and vendors; negotiations; training implementation - Employee and management relations; consulting; interpretation of policies and employment related laws - Performance management and terminations - Health and Safety management and administration - Manage and administer absences for all staff - Employee Engagement: implementation, management and administration of employee engagement programs; organize employee related events - Continually stay abreast of upcoming laws, rules and best practices and implementing changes within the Company to ensure compliance
