AA&R Investment Group is a group of 12 subsidiaries in Oil & Gas, Logistics & Maritime, Agricultural and IT sector and my role cuts across the 12 subsidiaries. • Overseeing financial planning and reporting. • Leading the team in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Owning preparation of daily, weekly monthly and quarterly cashflow forecast. • Liaising with bank for the purpose of daily treasury operations and for fund raising purpose. • Providing advice to management on funding and developing cashflow strategies. • Efficiently monitoring the group’s investments. • Establishing cash management strategies and ensuring efficient liquidity management. • Managing the monthly financial close process, ensuring all costs incurred are properly captured. • Championing project profitability monitoring and advisory. • Maintaining relationship with external stakeholders- auditors, tax authorities, government authorities, vendors, and customers. • Preparing the different operating companies and the Group annual budget. • Ensuring hierarchy and scalability in chart of accounts and accuracy in the general ledger and financial statements and has ultimate authority over classification and booking of all transactions. • Driving compliance with relevant tax laws and other regulatory body.
