A long-time member of the ACM's Special Interest Group on Computer Human Interaction, I served as Chair of the SF Bay Area Chapter for 2 consecutive terms. I continue to participate as a member of the Steering Committee. Since August 2017, I've been serving as co-chair of the monthly program team. Find me on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Monthly Program meeting, where I'm often found down in front, live tweeting the presentation, then managing the microphone during Q&A (when we meet face-to-face), and since April 2020 at BayCHI's Zoom-enabled meetings).
