Natalia Norori's current jobs
As a health research associate, I developed policy briefings that called for the use of Open Data to support humanitarian emergency response, recovery, and readiness. I also conducted desktop research for a project aimed to increase access to purpose-driven data for COVID-19 response and recovery.
I led a research study aimed at identifying the potential risks and harms associated with AI in healthcare and developed recommendations to reduce AI bias by applying the principles of Open Science to algorithmic design while considering ethics and privacy issues. I have delivered various training workshops on AI Fairness and Ethics based on the findings on this study.
I played a vital role in the development of OA.Works’ systems by contributing to the design, maintenance, and scaling of the data infrastructures that power OA.Works’ family of tools. This included modelling, monitoring, and analysing a database of more than 25,000 open-access policies. I had the opportunity to lead on OA.Works’ Open Science advocacy efforts and consistently fostered collaboration with the Open community.
