The Aspire Community Foundation is a non-profit philanthropic organisation that provides welfare support, cultural & educational programmes, poverty alleviation, sustainable development and small business support for Sri Lankan communities. The foundation works to help disadvantaged communities through supporting basic welfare needs, education and vocational training. The Directors of the foundation work as volunteer members, overseeing the implementation and funding of projects. The work we do covers 3 main areas: -funding education support programmes and training for careers and educational needs for young people with potential requiring support with their education and training - Covid relief and welfare support programmes to help communities who have lost income and jobs due to the pandemic and also those without basic food and needs - sustainable small business and livelihood support programmes to help develop communities and make useful contributions to their society. A food donation programme has fed families in the South, Colombo and suburban areas and the North of the country. We work with volunteers and also partner with NGOs working at grass roots level. Other projects include support for abuse sufferers and care leavers to gain educational support and vocational training qualifications, sponsorship of prisoner's children towards gaining educational qualifications and supporting emergency medical and PPE needs for quarantine centres, hospitals and prisons during the pandemic. Recent projects include supporting sustainable farming intiatives and educational support programmes for school and university students.

Smarter Lives provides business and educational consultancy and mentoring. We have worked with clients in Asia, Africa, Europe, USA, UK and the Middle East. Services: - Coaching for professionals and executives - Career coaching - Psychometrics and coaching programmes -University guidance and career counselling for UK and US University admissions -Support for business startups. - performance coaching, change management -strategic management and business development - Presenting career training workshops and programmes online and in-person to international audiences. - Building brand awareness, networks and informing audiences Responsibilities include: - Managing the financial, taxation and administrative aspects of the business. - developing partnerships and networks for service improvement. - sustainability for organisations.
