Total responsibility for the Australian Gloria Jean's Coffees Business with over 480 stores, revenue exceeding $300 Million, 400 franchisees and 5000 staff. Responsible for the business turnaround by improving EBITDA by 113%. Responsibilities included brand repositioning to re-engage the evolving coffee consumer and sector, product development, innovation and marketing, improving franchisee profitabilty by better management of commodity and currency fluctuations and landlord and banking relationships for continued growth. Responsible for developing, refining, executing and monitoring a comprehensive global logistics and distribution business that delivered an extensive range of products throughout 40 counties, three manufacturing plants, internal warehouses and 3PL providers. Created and implemented a recovery strategy that delivered greatly improved efficiencies, increased margins, reduced stock on hand, improved buyer relations, reduced cash needs and improved EBITDA . The role included full responsibilty for the leadership of the warehouse businesses, relationship management with 3PLs, distribution and supply planning personnel, effective capacity and demand planning, driving operational excellence and best practice across the global distribution network.
Responsible for strategic planning, execution and global management of Operational SOPs, and operations platforms to deliver sales growth and brand consistency and master franchisee alignment across 810 stores throughout 40 countries. Designed business recovery programs for Master Franchisees to develop internal talent to assist with declining incomes, excessive G+A, poor liquidity, excessive debt. Implemented world class operational compliance and review programs to ensure innovative change programs were delivering revenue at top line and improved EBITDA at the bottom line. In colaboration with the Head of Development, launched a new business model that delivered aggressive new franchise store growth of 90 stores per annum for four years growing the brand in Australia to over 480 stores. Designed, developed and launched a multi-function restaurant/retail/coffee house concept for Robert Timms Coffees and showcased the brand with 100 coffee outlets during the Sydney Olympic Games.Worked successfully with the FMCG team utilising the hospitality/retail concept and 100 coffee outlets to promote Robert Timms Coffees consumer products.

Assisted with the repositioning of 41 Pizza Hut full service restaurants that delivered reduced corporate G+A and improved franchise EBITDA.
