Originally developed as the Environment & Sustainability Practice Group, we have recognized the breadth of services provided and changed the name to reflect our services to new, existing and expanded energy infrastructure and facilities across technologies and distribution methodologies. Cuddy & Feder’s Energy + Environmental Practice Group is familiar with your concerns whether your company’s legal and business issues arise in the Electric Utility Industry or Natural Gas Sector or Oil & Petroleum. We also have exposure to independent power solutions such as Waste-To-Energy and Fuel Cell technologies as well as Renewable Energy Sources, including Solar and Geothermal systems. We have created and executed documents salient to your everyday operations, such as Fuel Supply/Power Purchase Agreements, EPC/Design-Build Contracts, Operations & Maintenance Agreements and Ground Leases. We frequently serve as counsel as to regulatory aspects with a particular focus on the permitting, entitlement and environmental issues associated with new, existing and expanded energy infrastructure and facilities. Our attorneys also advise Energy Clients relative to Project Finance Transactions with both private banking and public finance corporations and are familiar with federal Revenue Bond issuance. In addition, we are sensitive to the intellectual property and corporate issues unique to the deregulating Energy sector. And, when the need arises, we have litigated across the regulatory, transactional, corporate and financial landscape of the Energy sphere.
