Qualified in numerous ground support equipment that allowed qualifications to rise 30% higher than any other work center in the enterprise, which allowed for junior personnel to be recognized as a Sailor of the year, two Sailors of the quarter, and an advancement rate of 66% which is well over the Navy standard of 35%. As a Plane Captain was responsible for the safe launch and recovery of 613 sorties encompassing 3,649 flight hours, 96% sortie completion rate; which allowed for time sensitive aircraft to be on station while deployed in support of combat troops overland missions.
