Lead electrical designer for insole device that monitored gait cycle, fall detection, and metabolic output, created and tested circuits with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection. Wrote Bluetooth code on the device and android platform to pair with the insole device.
Taught junior-level electrical design in recitation sections using self-created content, coached student design teams through Circuit Development and Printed Circuit Board design. The Recitation Lessons would later be used by other Teacher Assistants. The lessons covered topics such as basic circuit layout, Selecting the right embedded hardware, and differences between communication options such as RS485, I2C, and UART.
Taught camps for middle and high school students, to teach them the design process and how to make with an Arduino
Co-founder of the club, created a space for students to research robotic related ideas and participate in competitions such as Sparkfun AVC or VEXU, secured a contract with the Mesa IDEA museum to build a Robotic greeter.
The club was formed to focus on recruitment and outreach for new Honors students for the Barrett, The Honors College. I was elected vice president the second year in the club and was invited to join my second semester at college. I went to numerous speaking events and traveled to local schools and college fairs to pitch the Honors College and why others should join.
