Managed book of advisory and discretionary portfolios of hedge funds encompassing private client and institutional accounts. Largely serviced clients of the UK Private Bank alongside our commingled Fund of Fund products and institutional mandates (e.g. insurance companies and asset management firms). Additional responsibilities included the marketing of the Groups various Hedge Fund, Private Equity and Real Estate offerings, as well as maintaining relationships with our existing investors.
Assisted in the running of a $1bn book of advisory and discretionary portfolios of Hedge Funds for private clients. Client book encompassed those from the UK, Continental Europe, South America and the Middle East. All Hedge Fund strategies were considered for inclusion in portfolios including Equity Long / Short, Global Macro, Managed Futures, Event Driven, Distressed and Multi-Strategy. Apart from constructing portfolios, the role included assessing Hedge Funds and communicating with and pitching to clients on a regular basis. Additional responsibilities included the marketing of Private Equity and Real Estate products originating from our Alternatives platform.
