Managing garment sourcing operations for NEXT plc in North Delhi region and responsible for quality product shipping from fabric sourcing to garment manufacturing which involves fabric sourcing , quality assurance ,supply chain management , Production planning with T&A management . Partner with managers and cross functional teams to create and execute a seasonal fabric and yarn sourcing strategy that support business goals including IMU goals . Research global, domestic, and competitive markets to identify new trends , fabrics , yarn ,and new techniques while managing brand integrity and business strategy . Strong understanding of supply chain management and negotiation skills . Occasional travel to domestic and international market for research and development , attend local and global yarn and fabric trade shows and mills visits . Involved in cost stimulation exercise along with product managers to ensure right price offer to the brands . Adhere to calendar to ensure all developments dates are on time and attend all meetings as required . Explore market of new mills or change in current mill base and identify the opportunities for potential negotiation and staying ahead of market . Responsible for all approval process of seasonal sample developments , color shade bands and setting quality standards.

Managing a team of fabric sourcing and fabric qualities development for Walmart, At last ,Asda, Esprit, Belk, and s.Oliver & Street One Majorly. Daily progress with fabric suppliers and quality inspection teams to ensure 100% pcd on time . Regular visiting to fabric mills and garment laundry mills to give approvals and quality inspection To ensure on time approvals of strike off , fabric base quality and shade band with buying team Review fabric test reports and garment durability reports to ensure quality products shipped to buyers Logistics control to reduce fabric in transit lead times Negotiation of fabric prices and delivery terms and send to directors for approvals Exploring new mills to introduce new product category and help to increase sales Updating weekly production excel and present to directors closely working with product mangers and design team for new product sourcing working closely with production merchant team for cost exercise and development of fabrics to fit into cost targets .
