• Performing all duties in respect of Collective Investments Schemes Control Act 45 of 2002, its Notices, Circulars, according to ASISA Standards and Guidelines, Regulation 28 of the Pension Funds Act including Namibia Unit trust regulation and JSE Listing requirements for Exchange Traded Funds, SARB Reporting. • Group Subject Matter Expect on Collective Investment Scheme regulations. • Responsible for daily, quarterly and annual monitoring, reporting for (CISCA), BN 90, Reg 28 and ASISA , BN 52 and JSE Listing requirements, SARB returns. • Develop, draft and update daily, monthly and quarterly regulatory compliance procedures, processes and policies. • Management of complaints and ensure adherence to the process and policy. • Maintain the regulatory compliance breach management and identify, analyse and resolution processes for instances of non-compliance. • Maintain an appropriate oversight function in respect of any delegated function. • Ensure that the business kept up to date and have a proper understanding of current legislation, industry guidelines. • Preparing the compliance reports for relevant governance committees. • Working closely with the trustee services and investment management team. • Responsible for investment compliance/portfolio compliance and regulatory compliance monitoring. • Conduct Training. • Drafting of risk management plans and assist business with the implementation of such plans; • Conducting Compliance monitoring as per the agreed upon Compliance Coverage Plan. • Ensuring compliance with TFC outcomes related to unit trust. > Maintenance of FAIS Rep registers and competency register to ensure fit and proper. • Responsible for reviewing of all marketing material ensure compliance with the applicable pieces of legislation. • Governance of the respective management companies and ensuring compliance with relevant pieces of legislation and oversight of the Manco boards .
