Ensured that the company goals were met in a timely fashion by efficiently and effectively managing personnel and resources and utilizing a thorough knowledge of the industry, markets and related financials. Purchased all equipment and oversaw renovation projects. Developed and conducted several training programs. - Trading and Distribution: Over 15 years of experience in import, export, and distribution logistics in both the Jordanian and Saudi Arabian markets. With traded items that include fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen vegetables, frozen seafood, dairy products, canned vegetables, snack foods, fruit juices and processed meats. This entailed extensive experience in logistics freight, clearance and warehousing. Land, air and sea freight know-how including incoming shipments from over 10 countries including the US, Japan, Europe and China, and outgoing shipments to over 15 countries in four continents. With extensive procurement experience including contract supply, market pegged supply, spot supply and futures contracts. - Special Projects: Set-up several specialized divisions and activities to carry out the relevant activities including farming, distribution in Saudi Arabia, consultation, international trade and fresh fruit and vegetable (FFV) exports. - Institutional Contracts: Extensive exposure to governmental, military and other institutional dealings with established experience in the qualification and tendering processes and know-how of contractual obligations and operational challenges. - Manufacturing and Packaging: Set-up state-of-the-art facilities that produce a wide range of preserved products including table olives, pickled vegetables and specialty items by applying world class manufacturing principles.
