Cause for Celebration is an ambition and drive to serve, empower and uplift the underprivileged section of the society and bring joy and happiness in their lives - Started in Sep 2018 in Hyderabad to impact 200 orphans - It aims: 1. None should go deprived of basic amenities, love and care 2. To make education, food, health, self defense reach everyone 3. Facilitates identification and development of hidden talents and passion of children 4. Enables lower-income communities to learn various extra-curricular and co-curricular activities such as Public Speaking, Dance, Singing, Acting and makes them independent learners in activities chosen by them Some of the projects and initiatives of C4C are: - Sponsoring school and transport fees for orphans and slum children - Girl Child Education, Self-defense classes for girls - Benches/Notebooks/School Bags/Stationery items donations in Govt. schools, orphanage - Festival excursions for orphanage, Gift a Wish- Fulfilling individual wishes of specially abled children, orphans - Organizing health checkup camps, providing medicines for orphanage - Clothes, footwear, blanket, umbrella distribution on streets - Vocational training, dance classes, story telling, fun activities in govt. schools, orphanage - Sponsoring food in slums - Groceries, sweets, fruits distribution to migrant workers - Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Session and Biodegradable Sanitary pads distribution to lower income communities women - Phones/Laptop distribution to slum kids for online education - Creating and mapping employment opportunities to the needy By the end of its first year, the initiatives are spread to Telangana, Andhra, Delhi/NCR and also international to Mexico City We impacted over 10000 people till date with the help of close to 100 volunteers - Responsible for complete planning, finances, monitoring and logistics
