KhetiMate - An initiative to promote sustainable farming by introducing biological solution. I am working with 50 small and marginal farmers from Kanpur Dehaat. Small and marginal farmers have very less land holding and that are fragmented. Over the last decade the input cost has been increased significantly. The current agricultural practice specially for small and marginal farmers is not sustainable and also the overall nutrient value of produce is also decreased. Since these farmers cultivate most of the produce for their own consumption so providing them knowledge inputs on sustainable and chemical free farming become crucial. This initiative is an attempt to understand the problem in more detail and then how an affordable and effective solution could be provided.
