I reported to both the Italian General Management and to the COO of the Holding in Switzerland. I was accountable for overall operational performances and for the financial results of my production unit (30 million euros in turnover in 2017) composed by 109 direct operators divided into 2 departments (Press and Finishing) and completed by 16 technical employees (Industrialization, Tool Department, Maintenance, Quality, Production Planning).
I coordinated 150 people and I responded directly to the General Management. In order to achieve the service level, quality and efficiency goals, I managed a large number of 5S, TPM, SMED, Kanban and Standard Work projects in all our automated production processes: cold deep-drawing, trimming, bending, laser cutting, welding, grinding, brushing, washing and packaging.
My team was made by 140 people and I reported to the General Management: I was responsible for the sink manufacturing unit and all the associated activities with the focus to increase the service level to our customers in a period of strong increasing demand
2 people in my office and I responded to the Technical Management. In a context of great expansion in terms of volumes and production mix, we succeded to increase output levels within agreed timescales through new investments in tools, machineries and automations and streamlining our production processes
I was in the work centers to analyze the production flows, to standardize the processes and to optimize the layouts.
I ensured that all the "late" production and purchasing orders have been investigated to identify root causes and to then provide prompt and accurate corrective action to be implemented thus preventing similar occurrences
