Bicycled for Humanity is a global grassroots movement that is trying to solve the problem of mobility in rural Africa through the gift of mobility a bicycle can provide. Healthcare workers, students and women are walking long distances every day and a bicycle can help all. Last year we sent 20,000 bicycles, 500 in a container we call a BEC, or Bicycle Empowerment Centre which upon arriving in Africa becomes a bike workshop. We have established over 200 BEC's and helped thousands enjoy the gift of mobility. to date over 125,000 bicycles have been delivered to 10 Africa countries. We are now the largest globally at helping Empower the people of the developing world and we still have no staff or overhead and we never will.
