Since I decided to follow my dream/passion, I have been honored to speak on several platforms LIVE and online. Before I retired in 2016, my first training was in 2015 with Nancy Matthews, Trish Carr and Susan Wiener with Women's Prosperity Network (WPN). Bill Walsh, International Powerteam USA, was also my mentor i"Platinum Speaking Training" in 2017. Since attending the Speaker Trainings, I began to tap into my deepest emotions and embraced the story that prompted inspired me to continue my journey to become a Public Speaker. Currently, I am hosting online events that set a platform for entrepreneurs like you to be seen and heard by the masses. My goal as a Public Speaker is to establish a platform so that entrepreneurs can connect, build relationships, and increase their bottom line. Retired Correctional Lieutenant, Patricia Rogers completed 29 years in law enforcement for Miami-Dade County where she trained thousands of employees to excel in their careers. Upon entering into the organization as a trainee, I was selected to lead a class of 43 newly hired recruits like myself. I excelled in my training and was promoted to the position of Correctional Officer. As a Correctional Officer my duties were the care, custody and control of the inmate population. After mastering the role of correctional officer, I was inspired to prepare for the promotional examination to the position of a Correctional Supervisor which made me responsible for both staff and the inmate population. My duties also were to oversee the facility/shift making sure all areas under my purview were safe and secure at all times, emergency situations were dealt with in a timely manner and ensuring all staff under my span of control were properly trained according to the mandates of the organization. During my career, I faced challenges and opportunities that would rocket me to the next levels in my career and officially retired as Shift Lieutenant in 2016. On July 2, 2016 I celebrated my success and achievement in a big way. I expressed a spirit of gratitude for all that I had achieved and for the many relationships that were made in my 29 years of public service with the Miami-Dade Correctional Family!
