Since the 70’s skateboard technology has hardly changed and every surfer knows that there’s a huge difference between the way surfboards and skateboard ride! Surfboards glide across water and tap into the energy of a rolling wave as the rider leans on their rail to carve a sharp turn. Waterborne Skateboards has developed novel proprietary mechanisms, called Skateboard Surf Adapters, that bolt onto ANY SKATEBOARD to make them turn sharply and naturally just like a surfboard! Surfers love the Surf Adapter because they can practice their surfing maneuvers when the waves are flat, and skateboarders love the Surf Adapter because it makes their own skateboard perform in ways they never thought possible! One of our differentiators is price point. The closest surf-skate experience available on the market are $250, where the Surf Adapter only costs $60. We ran a successful crowd funding campaign and have since sold thousands of Surf Adapters to riders all over the world! We’ve developed and filed patents for 2 proprietary skateboard technologies, and launched a line of premium skateboards.
