Fourth Plain Forward serves the systemically disadvantaged and marginalized Black African American, Indigenous, Hispanic & Latino, Pacific Islander and Asian communities, the undocumented folks and refugees who live and work in the area of Vancouver known as the International District. Focused on delivering equitable community outcomes, Fourth Plain Forward strives to improve Community Resilience, Economic Development and localized infrastructure. This work is centered on Racial Equity & Justice, Anti-displacement, Climate & Environmental action, Collective Impact and Community First. Fourth Plain Forward listens, learns and understands the community's needs. We facilitate and empower communities to activate and access services by building their capacity, networks, skills and knowledge. Our district encompasses six neighborhoods, includes over 200 locally owned businesses, and is located along E. Fourth Plain Blvd from the I5 to NE Andresen Rd.
