Burnside America Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Irish company Burnside Autocyl, which has been proudly manufacturing hydraulic cylinders in the USA since 2016. The Burnside brand is synonymous with customized quality manufactured hydraulic cylinders in the mobile hydraulic industry. Supplying some of the biggest names in the materials handling, construction, and waste disposal industry. To support the continued growth of Burnside America Inc. I had the opportunity to lead the engineering section of the company from a greenfield site. This included: -Setting up the ISO 9001 quality system and ensuring the internal standards met the NSAI's external auditors' expectations and consequently enable Burnside America to gain and maintain its ISO 9001 certification. -Setting up and managing the Supply Chain Network to ensure material demands for production are met to meet our customer's goals of 100% 'On-Time Delivery'. -Work closely with our North American customer base to ensure Burnside America's goals synergized themselves with that of our customer's expectations to ensure Burnside America was set up from day 1 with its customer's needs in mind from day 1. -Offer technical support and quick response corrective actions to the customers in case of any irregularities or NPD changes.
