Structuring US$10 Billion of capital in investment until 2030 initially, to decarbonise the shipping industry with world-class partners, including two multi-lateral development banks and a sovereign-backed impact fund. I created the world’s first green bond under the global Climate Bonds Initiative (cumulative issuance surpassed US$254 billion in 2022); and I will be utilising my expertise in the Blue Bonds and sustainability linked loans space with our financing partners. With this multi-billion dollar investment platform I will be leading Triumph Energy’s financial capabilities on its mission to address the decarbonisation of the marine and especially the Offshore Construction Vessels and Windfarm Installation Vessel sectors and dismiss much of the ‘greenwashing’ in the industry through a programme of certified ITMO’s and MRV. Triumph Energy designed the world's first IMO 2050 compliant and Carbon Positive certified Offshore Construction and Service vessels. Achieving these two major milestones within this market sector. Triumph is collaborating with Lloyd's Register to develop a landmark Sustainable Notation for the offshore energy, renewables and decommissioning sectors that will clearly define a vessel’s 100% sustainability throughout its life from ‘cradle to grave’. This landmark notation provides documented evidence that a vessel is certified as Carbon Positive and is compliant for all green financing, green bonds, blue bonds and carbon credits. We are also deep into the Carbon Markets and will be the first group of companies in the world to monetize ITMO’s in the shipping and marine sector.
