We have longstanding expertise in conventional hydraulic fracture modelling originating from an advanced supercomputer based 3D hydraulic fracture simulator GEOFRAC(TM): SPE 24989, together with PC based semi-analytical and fully numerical 3D fracture simulators TRIFRAC and AQUAFRAC, which are presently being further extended to handle dendritic fracturing of hydrocarbons bearing shale formations using a novel chaos modelling approach. Our INIFRAC software can also assist with prediction and interpretation of formation breakdown pressures and in situ stress conditions in deviated wells, including interpretation and calibration of dipole sonic log data. We are currently developing an advanced training course in hydraulic fracturing.
