ISO 5817:2014 Category B/C every 2 years. Implementing & Managing the Health & Safety systems identify & implement any training that is required on the shop floor, • Conducting quarterly health & safety meetings. • Identifying & writing risk assessments. • Keeping Record of all COSH/Data Sheets. • Conducting Monthly tool box talks. • Organising Health & Safety training – Fork Truck Licences, First Aid, Manual Handling & Fire Extinguisher. • Conduct yearly PDR’s to set new KPI’s for all employees. I am also responsible for the day to day running & planning of production and costing of vessels including the basic design of some vessels which includes, • Organising & keeping live Production Planning Sheet. • Hiring of all staff including apprentices. • Conducting all disciplinary hearings. • Working with external design engineers for any new design/developments to the housing range. • Pricing & Ordering of all raw materials. • Undertaking of all CAD drawings for the workshop & any lasered components.

Help re-establish this company after closing due to it had gone into administration, bring in both old & new customers. Started off as a sheet metal worker fabricating high standard equipment for the nuclear industry such as Containment Glove Boxes, Stainless Steel Pipework and Frames. Helped to develop a Stainless Steel blowing conveying system to replace mechanical conveyors within the food sector, then I was the promoted to site supervisor installing systems in Walkers factories and also Haribo. Site work was also carried out at Lever Bros replacing stabbings on vessels onsite, cutting out the old stabbings and patching over then cutting new holes and welding in new stabbings.

Working within the Ventilation and the catering equipment industry within the South West from cladding walls in hotel kitchens right up to full supply and installation of ventilation systems for Trelliske Hospital. Towards the last 6 months I was promoted to Works Manager looking after the day to day running of the work shop.

As a jobbing shop both batch work & one offs where completed with this company, from a one off specialised ice packing machine to batch flashing components. The use of CNC machinery was gained with this company on Presses and Guillotines.

Worked as a sheet metal worker on shore work on ships that came into dock. Repairs & Renewing Mild Steel Pipework both above & below deck, replacing leaking ventilation systems & any other repair work required. Shut down repair work on paper mills were also carried out replacing Stainless steel pipework and building up stainless steel masher heads ready to be machined Welding MMA, MIG, TIG

Worked as an apprentice sheet metal worker within the acoustics sector. Building Sound Proof Canopies which consisted of Mild Steel Frame work and acoustically lined Zintec panels, Stainless Steel Exhaust system on boats fabricated from 316L & Avesta 253 Stainless Steel.
