Duties and Responsibilities Recruitment • To monitor personnel requisitions and job vacancies in different departments and screening of applicants for interview • To assist the Department Heads in conducting interviews / selections • To source for new employees for vacancies through KIV files, agencies and advertisement • To get the police verification report in respect of regular employees hired and maintain proper record of the same • To establish good rapport with Human Resources departments in other Hotels in order to carry out reference checks on potential candidates. • To prepare employment contract. • To conduct induction for new staff on their first day of work Employee Welfare • To supervise, control and manage the staff cafeteria. • To ensure the sanitation and cleanliness is maintained in the cafeteria. • To inspect staff lockers in the presence of a security officer and the locker rooms facilities on daily and monthly basis as to ensure that cleanliness is maintained and no pilferage has taken place • To update notice board • To advise employees on insurance and SOCSO claim. Administration • To prepare the HRD report (weekly / monthly) which includes new employment. resignation, leaves (unpaid leave, medical leave, maternity leave) • To contact other hotel to generate monthly service point and turn over comparison report. • To update staff movement like promotions, transfers, change of position, salary changes • To apply for Expatriate Work Permit – new applications, renewal and cancellation • To apply for permits for foreign trainees • To handle personnel activities concerning Staff Party, Loyalty Award, Perfect Attendance & Care and Share Fund • To follow up on the confirmation date of the employees • To maintain and update employees personal file. • To keep track of employees annual leave and medical records. • To keep track medical entitlement and do posting for medical claims.
