Direction and counsel to healthcare business owners and stakeholders on corporate and business governance, regulatory and statutory compliance, risk management and other issues in the context of federal and state regulatory requirements, including pharmaceutical distribution, FDA, Fraud and Abuse laws, Anti-Kickback, Sunshine law, False Claims Act, HIPAA and privacy, Medicaid and Medicare (payment, reimbursement and duty of care compliance), EMTALA, Anti-trust, OSHA, and various other state and federal statutes. Direct oversight and responsibility for compliance program over multiple and varying lines of healthcare entities. Coordinate and manage contracting for multiple business lines in the healthcare space, including for pharmaceutical distribution and management programs and medical device sales and distribution. Define strategies and lead negotiations to effectively collaborate with functional business groups, such as sales, vendor or provider and payer contract teams to manage, guide, oversee and assume responsibility for negotiation, drafting, execution of business agreements. Post execution management of contract databases, deadline tracking and contract flow programs to streamline management of contracts (high and low volume). Management of health care related investigations by state and federal licensing and regulatory boards, concerning credentialing, licensing, regulatory violations, reportable events and disciplinary actions.
