St James's Hotel Management merged with Castlebridge Hotels Management and created Castlebridge Hospitality. I became Group FC for the new joint management company.
Initially this project was all about taking over the management of 19 hotels managed by GLH/Thistle, bringing them into The Hotel Collection; all in one day. Designing the workflow to ensure the smooth running of the finance function while changing system, networks, banks. I then changed focus to preparing the new hotels for their first month end in The Hotel Collection. I am now helping facilitating the departure of most of our hotels to other brands in the owner Lone Star's Amaris Hospitality portfolio. Coordinating information flows and managing a comprehensive review of the balance sheets of all hotels in The Hotel Collection. In addition I have assisted in the budget work, design of models, for what will remain of The Hotel Collection. I am currently also covering the role of Cluster Financial Controller for two of our hotels; Billesley Manor and The Lygon Arms.
Brought in to assist integrating this iconic and complicated resort in QHotels systems and reporting. Once the system integration, forecast routines, month end procedures and budget process was completed and a new local Finance Director recruited the project was completed.
