Karulkar Pratishthan is a five decade old NGO founded by Karulkar family Matriarch Smt. Kamalabai Karulkar. The Pratishthan through its efforts in social causes including women empowerment, girl child education, support to tribal villages, employment generation for rural youth has contributed to nation building. The Pratishthan is active in border areas of Maharashtra and Gujarat and has forayed to other states including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Madhya Pradesh. Till date Karulkar Pratishthan, through its efforts have positively impacted the lives of more than 3000 families in rural areas of its operations. Karulkar Pratishthan does not take any donation or charity and is funded internally by the Karulkar family through their business interests
