• Head of Chennai R&D Engineering site for 3 years. As part of the role, responsible for providing zero downtime business operations and supporting various other functionalities in the site. • Defining Strategy and governance model for R&D software development teams in Chennai to drive best practices and work towards building talent needed for the organization growth. • Chief Consultant in setting up cutting edge teams in the areas like Industrial IoT, Smart Home, Wifi and Advanced Gateway. • Responsible for the Android TV OTT deliverables from Chennai and providing extensive support to other product development teams (Video, Broadband and Wireless) operating from the centre. • Core member of Technicolor R&D Transformation Plan. And successfully hired more than 100+ talented employees in last three years. • Carried out multiple experiments on the Innovation front, like crowd-based innovation, and made it successful within the organization. • As part of re-engineering team, involved in the development of KPIs for the engineering teams to improve productivity and the quality. • Worked with various Offsite Development Centres in India under various models to deliver products. This includes vendor shortlisting, statement of work, review board meetings, setting KPIs and ensuring timely delivery of the products.

Lead large software development teams in SP Video and end to end delivery by bridging strategy to execution towards meeting customer requirements. The responsibilities included providing solutions to complex business problems, building teams to meet Agile transformations and moving them to DevOps Culture. Have experimented with small team concepts and developed multiple prototypes in the areas like IoT and Cloud based services. Have been instrumental in expansion of Cisco/Scientific-Atlanta through hiring more than 200+ employees. The organization-wide initiatives include, building networks across functions to achieve results for Cisco and its customers; building governance systems with cross-functional peers to maximize alignment across teams; helping team members build skills that will support performance within and beyond their immediate roles; driving an innovation culture; encouraging team to take risks and learn from mistakes; and executing successfully in a rapidly changing environment.

Been instrumental in developing software stack for a next generation product called CableCARD (Separable Conditional Access has mandated by FCC) that was being successfully deployed in millions. Coordinated multiple projects with teams across geographical areas (India, US and Europe) and implemented them successfully. Worked and well versed in various components of Scientific Atlanta Digital Broadband Delivery System. Implemented cost effective software solutions to bring down the cost of mass deployed products. Travelled to Consortiums and Customer labs to take part in interoperable testing with various CE vendors.

Played the role of both Individual contributor and simultaneously leading a small team of highly skilled engineers who developed device drivers for digital head-end components and System architect for DVB-SI Sever (An end to end PSI/SI generation suite). The development environment was in VC++, MFC, Com/DCom.

As a Systems Engineer, involved in requirement analysis, developing new features, maintenance and testing of the workflow based recognition system using VC++ and MFC. And developed multiple shell scripts in the Unix environment.
