Nelja Energia AS was the leading wind energy company in the Baltics until 2018 with an operational portfolio of 290 MW. Total on-shore project under development 350 MW and total off-shore under development over 1100 MW. The main areas of business of Nelja Energia were the development of the renewable energy industry and the operation of power production. Nelja (four) referred to focus on four renewable energy sources – wind, water, biomass and solar. Nelja Energia was also involved in areas related to renewable energy industry, e.g., hydrogen, gas, etc. Nelja Energia was owned by Vardar Eurus A/S, a Scandinavian power company, and Estonian private investors. All shares of Nelja Energia was sold in May 2018 to Enefit Green AS and after the merger clearance was received the shares was transferred to Enefit Green AS in November 2018. After handing over the company I left Nelja Energia in December 2018. Nelja Energia was merged to Enefit Green AS in spring 2019.
