Sage is the operating system for Geriatric care designed to enable Modern Aging. Today, older adults’ main causes of injury and death are largely preventable. For example, the #1 cause of injury related death amongst older adults are falls. Those that do not get real-time assistance and are left unattended after a fall for longer than 1 hour have a 50% mortality rate. At the same time, professional and family caregivers are largely burned out due to intensive work, staffing shortages, and lack of good tools to give them leverage. At Sage we deploy connected devices to older adults so they can activate assistance and we equip caregivers with an operating system to efficiently and effectively care.
