MetraTech is the world's first web service billing, customer care and revenue sharing solution for the IP/Telephone market. Joined MetraTech as one of the founding members (employee #3). Initially, served as an individual contributor and later on responsible for helping build an engineering organization from scratch including establishing all product processes, tools and methodologies. While the company was in initial stages, helped create MetraTech's software development processes including; automated (nightly) software build and test systems; requirements, configuration and release management; architecture and design reviews. I have taken on increasing responsibilities for managing development teams and new product launches. I have managed all aspects of product development -- hardware, software, QA, documentation and beta programs. The technology is all Microsoft based. Portion of the product is cross platform, such as the JAVA SDK and support of the product on Oracle/Solaris.

JP Morgan – Listed Trader Workstation (LTW) LTW is a touchpad-based front -office trading system for the investment bank and research firm. This real time application is used for order/risk management throughout the firm’s equity trading desks. This is a C++ homegrown transaction processing monitor (TPM) based application with a Visix Galaxy front-end and Sybase database server. * Wrote C++ common functionality for several equities applications. The common server functionality included database management, server management, administration via TPM calls, exception handling, runtime server configuration, thread pool management, and notification of Database events through a customized Open Server. JPMorgan - Delivery Management Trading System Delivery Management system is the firms back-office processing engine. This real-time, mission-critical position management system was used to provide a global perspective of the bank’s projected positions for back-office position traders. * Wrote C++/Sybase libraries and utilities for the Core Processing System to allow efficient manipulation of financial data, including positions/transactions, accounts, instruments, and other reference data. * Responsible for managing the implementation of the largest development track on the project. Managed the day-to-day activities of eight developers. Assisted team members with technical programming issues, design and implementation strategies, and performance considerations. Mentored and guided them with the technology, as well as helping them understand the standard development lifecycle for a large scale project – this understanding is critical for developing a mission critical financial application.
