Working as the Corporate Sustainability Director in chemical industry company Kemira. Main tasks include: - Driving the corporate sustainability agenda, and developing sustainability capabilities - Engaging with customers, investors and other stakeholders on sustainability - Coordinating the Sustainability Steering Team consisting of a broad representation of different organizational units - Facilitating top management discussion and decision-making on corporate sustainability - Supporting to identify governance, process and system changes to improve sustainability performance and management - Defining and supporting corporate development in sustainability priorities and targets - Supporting strategy and product line management in improving the sustainability of Kemira’s portfolio - Supporting businesses and functions in developing action plans to meet sustainability priorities - Participating in various teams to develop new business opportunities that have a strong sustainability driver - Identifying, leading and driving development projects to meet external sustainability requirements and norms - In collaboration with the relevant segments and functions identifying and managing regulatory and other issues in the external environment that might affect Kemira’s businesses - Managing and continuously developing sustainability reporting towards internal and external stakeholders in co-operation with relevant support functions
