January 1998 – Present The WCS Knowledge Centre Wound Care (WCS) aims at being a national knowledge centre on wound care, skincare, nutrition and pain management for healthcare professionals. Four times a year the WCS publishes the magazine “WCS Nieuws”, which has more than 2500 subscribers in the Netherlands and Belgium. The WCS also publishes his famous WCS Wondenboek every two years, a book that is known as the standard on wound care information. The WCS Academy teaches more than 700 healthcare professionals per year in different training programs. Besides the board there are about 50 volunteers in 8 different commissions in for instance pressure ulcers, burns, diabetic feet, editorial department, internet, etc. For further information: www.wcs.nl
